Route 1: Tramuntana’s Hidden Villages
Mountains on one side, steep cliffs that drop into the sea on the other. Some of the best views of Mallorca are experienced along this route.
You’ll ride through rustic villages by the sea surrounded by mountains. They are full of nice cafés, restaurants restaurants and cultural places to visit.
The road is well-paved, in great condition and full of curves. A bit challenging in some places but ideal for mountain route lovers.
Port d’Andratx:

Restaurant es Grau:

Banyalbufar:

Valldemossa:

Deià:

Cap Gros Lighthouse (Sóller):

Sóller Tram:

Fornalutx:

Biniaraix:

Itinerary:
We recommend an early start to catch the fishing boats returning to Port d'Andratx over coffee, or heading straight to Es Grau Restaurant—a cliffside spot with great views where you can enjoy a nice breakfast alongside other bikers.
Along the route, you’ll find multiple viewpoints to stop and enjoy the scenary (Sa Gramola, Ricardo Roca, Torre del Verger, and Far d’es Cap Gros) and you’ll be able to explore the rustic villages.
The most interesting ones are Valldemossa and Sóller. In Valldemossa, you’ll be able to visit the palace where Chopin lived, the royal gardens, and the narrow streets decorated with flowers while enjoying a traditional coca de patata with chocolate. In Sóller, you can discover its church in the main square, its beautiful port, and its traditional wooden tram. But if you want, you can also stop at the smaller villages (Estellencs, Banyalbufar, or Deià) or the hidden ones (Fornalutx and Biniaraix). The bigger ones have more to see, but the smaller ones are also very charming to visit and have a beauty discovered by few people.
As for the best restaurants, in Valldemossa we recommend Es Taller for more modern food and Can Costa for more traditional Mallorcan meals in a rustic ambience. In Sóller, we recommend Restaurant Es Passeig or Ses Oliveres for quality Mediterranean food with views of the port.

Route 2: Sa Calobra: Blue Lakes and Curvy Mountain Roads
Peaceful blue lakes at first, then beautiful roads that curve down the high mountains leading to the sea.
During the route, you’ll enjoy views of the highest mountains on the island and a great beach day in the unique cove of Sa Calobra.
The pavement on this route isn’t as new but it’s worthwhile.
Sóller:

Pantá des Gorg Blau:

Sa Calobra Road:

Sa Calobra Beach:

Itinerary:
We recommend starting your morning early to enjoy breakfast in Sóller’s main square.
Along the route to Sa Calobra, you’ll find multiple viewpoints to stop and enjoy the landscape, like Mirador des Gorg Blau with views of the lake.
At Sa Calobra, you’ll be able to enjoy the unique beach, swim in the clear blue water, or jump off cliffs into the sea if you are more adventurous.
After the beach, we recommend having lunch nearby at Es Vergeret Restaurant in Cala Tuent for Mediterranean food or at Sa Cuina d'en Marc back in Sóller if you want great meat.
After eating, you can spend the afternoon at the beautiful port of Sóller, go to Valldemossa to visit its palace and beautiful narrow streets while enjoying a traditional ‘coca de patata’, or visit the beautiful lesser-known villages of Fornalutx and Biniaraix.

Route 3. The Sandy Fields and The Virgin Beach
This route is the best one for people looking for easy roads and great beaches. It includes an amazing seafood restaurant, a cozy Mallorcan village, and a virgin white-sand beach.
Paseo Marítimo:

Cala Pí:

Ses Salines:

Es Caragol:

Itinerary:
The route starts cruising along the Paseo Marítimo, a road with views of the yachts in Palma’s port on one side and the tallest hotels on the other. Then you’ll head into the sandy fields of the south of Mallorca, riding along a road beside the coast to get to Cala Pi, one of the most beautiful coves in Mallorca.
Then you can keep going along the coast to reach the picturesque village of Ses Salines, which still preserves its historic buildings. There we recommend having lunch or dinner at Bodega Barahona, a great local fresh seafood restaurant near the main church.
After your meal, you can go towards the Cape Ses Salines Lighthouse, where you’ll find a small path along the coast that will lead you to the virgin beach of Es Caragol. There you can either enjoy the white sand and the clear, light-blue water during the day or watch the sunset during the evening.
